Using date in a custom column

So this is probably simple, but I'm stuck here.

This is what my dates look like:

I'm trying to create a new custom colum that does discipline codes before a certain date to create a Grandfathering Clause:

It says it's good to go, but it's not. I get a bunch of errors:

When I remove the date field all the errors disappear and I get values appearing. Any help appreciated!

Showing the error would have helped us 🙂

#date(1,1,2008) is incorrect. It should be

#date(year as number, month as number, day as number)

Another issue is you are using #date when your values are of DateTime thereby needing #datetime as

#datetime(year as number, month as number, day as number, hour as number, minute as number, second as number) as any
