Very new to Power Bi and only have a working knowledge of Tableau so be gentle.
I have a list of clients with amounts of money that we manage for them. I want to segregate/classify into 3 different categories and use a Parameter to adjust the one limit. The categories should be that the amount we manage is $0, $0.01 to the Parameter value, and above the Parameter value.
Using a fixed amount of $500,000 I was able to create a Calculated Column using the formula below. I basically need the same thing but with a Parameter instead of the hardcoded 500,000.
Solved! Go to Solution.
@TimCPA you need to create a measure and then use parameter value in your measure:
All AUM =
VAR __managedValue = MAX ( CRM[Managed Value] )
VAR __parameterValue = [Your Parameter Value Measure]
RETURN
SWITCH ( TRUE(),
__managedValue > __parameterValue, "Over $500,000",
__managedvalue = 0, "No AUM",
"Under $500,000"
)
