Using Power BI for Sage 300 evolution

Hi

I want to use the the sage 300 analytics apps from power bi app source. My data source is a local sql server. When I select all tables in the database on power bi desktop it takes forever to load and eventually says not enough memory. Can someone please assist me on how to go about using the sage 300 analytics app to connect to my company's sql database.

Thanks

Hi @Ebrahim123

Your data source in local sql server may be huge, you may try to connnect to your data source by direct query.

Here are some blogs and I hope they could help you solve your problem.

Blog1: Use DirectQuery in Power BI Desktop

Blog2: Import Sage 300 Data into the Power BI Service for Visualizations
