Using Paginated Report Builder and Existing DAX for Matrix Table

I recentely watched this video:

https://youtu.be/_uAP8GN6kCI

It explains how to get up and running with paginated reports at a basic level.  I have my PowerBI report built and fully customized but I need a printer friendly experience.  I've connected to my PowerBI Data Source from the existing report,  I created a new dataset and copied in my DAX from my PowerBI report but when I go to insert the Matrix every field is blank.  I don't know if I am missing a step or what.  I can supply the DAX if needed to view but rather do it privately if possible.

Here is the error when I run the paginated report

The CommandText expression for the query ‘DataSet1’ contains an error: [BC30451] 'DEFINE' is not declared. It may be inaccessible due to its protection level.
----------------------------
The definition of the report '' is invalid.
----------------------------
An error occurred during local report processing.

I actually found the answer in another video.  The original video has an error in the steps.  You must go to the Query Designer first to paste the DAX you can't just paste the dax from the expression button.
