Using DAX to save users current selections in filters as a temporary personal indicator

After user selected its filters field choices I would like to save current selections as a kind of personal indicator.

I want to use it for the follow purpose:

- in (page report 1) save current selections before a drillthrough with synchronized fields on;

- in the (drillthrough page) the user has the option to clear the synchronized fields (except the one used in the drilltrough)

- return to (page report 1) applying the "saved current selections/personal indicator".. returning the data as the they were before the clean up done by the user in (drilltrhouh page)

I accept any other idea that make this magic happend.

Thanks in advance

Hi @LZucco ,

Dax doesn't seem to be able to implement the purpose. Please try to use @parry2k 's idea.

In reports you embed for your organization, when the persistent filters feature is enabled, reports retain their state, including filters, slicers, and other data view changes. When your user opens a report, the saved user state loads into the report. Also, the user gets the same user state in the different scenarios if persistent filters is enabled.

Best Regards
