Hi,
I would like to use a measure when creating a new column.
For example:
I have an average productivity of 26,4 per day (which I know because my measure is showing me this).
Based on the number of working days in the week I would like to create a forecast for the week, as you can see in the table below (working days * 26,4):
Week | Holidays | Working days | Forecast |
31 | 0 | 5 | 132 |
32 | 0 | 5 | 132 |
33 | 1 | 4 | 106 |
34 | 0 | 5 | 132 |
35 | 1 | 4 | 106 |
36 | 0 | 5 | 132 |
37 | 0 | 5 | 132 |
38 | 0 | 5 | 132 |
39 | 0 | 5 | 132 |
40 | 0 | 5 | 132 |
41 | 0 | 5 | 132 |
42 | 1 | 4 | 106 |
43 | 0 | 5 | 132 |
44 | 0 | 5 | 132 |
45 | 0 | 5 | 132 |
46 | 0 | 5 | 132 |
47 | 1 | 4 | 106 |
48 | 0 | 5 | 132 |
49 | 0 | 5 | 132 |
50 | 0 | 5 | 132 |
51 | 0 | 5 | 132 |
However, if I do the amount of working days times the measure that I created I get the forecast column below.
Week | Holidays | Working days | Forecast |
31 | 0 | 5 | 1,11111 |
32 | 0 | 5 | 0,63492 |
33 | 1 | 4 | 3,11111 |
34 | 0 | 5 | 2,03175 |
35 | 1 | 4 | 5,81269 |
36 | 0 | 5 | 6,03175 |
37 | 0 | 5 | 5,07937 |
38 | 0 | 5 | 9,28571 |
39 | 0 | 5 | 5,55556 |
40 | 0 | 5 | |
41 | 0 | 5 | |
42 | 1 | 4 | |
43 | 0 | 5 | |
44 | 0 | 5 | |
45 | 0 | 5 | |
46 | 0 | 5 | |
47 | 1 | 4 | |
48 | 0 | 5 | |
49 | 0 | 5 | |
50 | 0 | 5 | |
51 | 0 | 5 |
Can somebody explain me how I can get the first column instead of the second.
Thank you :)!
If the granulity of the table is below a week, then you can get issues like that. Then you may use summarize or grouping
Also, can you share the formula you have now?
