Use app template to create own app

Hi, I am trying to create a appin power apps using available templates from power apps.
When i try to integrate the available template with my data, i am not able to process it. I am not getting an option to connect my data to that app.

Is there any way to use the ready made template with my own data source?

Hey @viditr1 ,

what definitely works is when you start the Power App from the visual within Power BI. Then the connection is handed over.

I personally don't know if you can manually add a Power BI data set as data source afterwards.

I've seen that under data you can add Power BI, but to be honest then I didn't dig deeper how that works:

Maybe one of the other experts here knows that.

But try to start the app from Power BI an you should be fine.

If you need any help please let me know.
If I answered your question I would be happy if you could mark my post as a solution ✔️ and give it a thumbs up 👍
