Use a measure with columns from Table A in Table B

I have the next tables:

Points
Business AreaPortfolioBudget adjusted
A190
B1189
C1360

Budget
Business AreaPortfolioBudgetBudget Adjusted
A110090
A2200180
B1210189
B2300270
C1400360
C2500450

Budget adjusted is a measure made in table Budget.

How can I use it in table POINTS to get the Budget Adjusted column as shown above?

I would like to keep it as a measure and not as a calculated column.

Thank you.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Try this measure.

Measure = CALCULATE([Budget Adjusted],FILTER(Budget,Budget[Business Area]=SELECTEDVALUE(Points[Business Area])&&Budget[Portfolio]=SELECTEDVALUE(Points[Portfolio])))

Result would be shown as below.

@Anonymous - Use RELATED or RELATEDTABLE in your measure along with MAXX for example. Measures can live anywhere, it does not matter what their home table is.

@Anonymous
I don't understand the full problem. Can you please provide more detail?

Measures do not belong to tables, so it does not matter where you see, store or created the measure, it can be used in a table visual with fields from any table as long as relationships exist and are setup correctly.

What is the DAX for the measure and what does the raw data look like? I don't understand the difference between the Points table and Budget tables?

Please @mention me in your reply if you want a response.
