Use SWITCH to change the column in charts with a Slicer

Hello everyone,

I'm looking to create a slicer that enable me to change the column name in a table or a chart, I don't know if its possible :

So,  instead of having a flexible "sales " results (like its usually done) , we create a flexible "colums name" that reallocate the amount of sales depending the columns criteria thats chosen.

For example :

RegionCustomerSales
CustomerA10
ProductB8
 C4
 D3
 E2
 TOTAL27

In this case, if we choose "Customer" , it shows the sales by customer. If we choose "Region", it shows the sales by Region ...

Hope someone can help me ....

Thanks

Hi @Aroth,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to achieve that requirement right now. A slicer is used filter data rows which are existing in table. While according to your description, you are attempting to filter columns and calculate the sales dynamically based on the selected column. This feature is not supported now.

Thanks,
Yuliana Gu

This solution allows to switch between numerical option,

in my example it will be : switch instead of "sales" by customer => "order" by custmer.
What I want is the opposite : instead of sales by "customer" => sales by "region"
