Use Measures and Months in Matrix as Columns

Hi all,

I'm trying to create a matrix but with a slight modification.
Usually, Power BI allows us to use Measures as Values and Months as Columns.

What I'm looking for is to switch the two (1 and 2 in the image below).
I'd lke to use Measures as Columns and Months as Values.

For example:

RishabhMaini_0-1668789119624.png

The above matrix should look like:

                       Measure                                Goal                                                 Actual
Sector   |        Program      |   Jan 2018  |  Feb 2018 |  Mar 2018  |  Jan 2018  |  Feb 2018  |  Mar 2018
                                                #value        #value        #value         #value        #value          #value
                                                #value        #value        #value         #value        #value          #value

Is this currently possible? Or is there a workaround?

Thanks!

Hi,
This is the exact format I would like to produce for my matrix visual. Are you able to share the pbix again? I tried clicking on the link but it has probably expired/removed. Would really appreciate it. Thank you.

Hi @onurbmiguel_

Thank you for providing the sample file! It will certainly help me understand how to figure this out.

You're a saviour!

Hi Rishabh-Maini

You can do that with calculation groups, you will need two calculatio itens "Goal" and other "Actual"

Also you can try the Fields parameters (it accepted measures as parameter)

Share one pbix with some dummy values and i will try to help you.

Best regards

Hi @onurbmiguel_ ,

Thank you for your reply.

I have never used calculation groups before, I'll be really thankful if you could provide some insights!

I've attached a file with some dummy values, let me know if that helps.
