Use Drill Through Carry Over Values in DAX/Visual

Here's a good one - I've got a Power BI page with a slicer (to choose 'Activity Quarters' such as "2019 Q2", "2019 Q3" etc.). When I make some slicer selections and then drill through to a details page I can see that my slicer selections have been carried over at the bottom of the 'Visualizations' pane and that's great. However, let's say I selected 2019 Q2 and 2019 Q3 in the slicer on the first page but there was no data for 2019 Q3. That means that when I drill through, the visualization pane shows that the carry over selections were indeed 2019 Q2 and 2019 Q3 but I currently cannot find a way to put those carry over values into, say, a card visual on that drill through page. What I want to show is that the user selected 2019 Q2 and 2019 Q3 despite only values existing for 2019 Q2. Any suggestions?

You may take a look at Sync and use slicers on other pages.
