Use DAX studio to evaluate performance of a report using a dataset

Hi

I have a dashboard built using a dataset as a datasource.

Can I use DAX studio to evaluation the performance of the DAX queries?  Do I need premium capacity for this?

When I try use DAX Studio I am getting the following message

@JHob Since you are working on a external dataset in your powerbi desktop. You will not be able to connect to your powerbi datasource using DAX studio. You can connect to the dataset that you have built from DAX studio.

But then DAX Studio won't be able to read the queries against the reports objects.

@JHob , it is giving a database connection error. Seem like your model is not connected properly.
