Upgrading PBIX from 2018 to 2019

Background:

i have a report source file from 2018-02-13 and it works in my virtual machine with the version of PowerBi from those days.

However, when i installed the latest PowerBi version, it doesn't import this source file. In fact it crashes the PowerBi instance. Actually first it was throwing an out of memory error (on a 16G machine with ssd..) and then after a reboot it kind of starts loading the source file and then crashes down.

Question:

Does anyone know of a way to upgrade this source file so that the latest version of PowerBi can load it?
