Updating data source Excel >> Method M server

Hi

I have a firewall that inhibits me from connecting my power bi to the data source. I am able to extract an excel worksheet of the data I need. I can initiate the dashbaord using the Excel, meanwhile the issue with the firewall is being worked out.

If I change the data source from this Excel (which is an export of the cloud which is an internal sharepoint), will it destroy my graphics and dashboard? I don't want to have to do the work twice.

If you could get the same excel from the cloud source succesfully,it would not destroy your graphics in desktop.You may try to publish it to service and set schedule refresh for the dataset.
