Updating a table

Hi,

I am using a card to represent "count of column A". Some values of column are empty.

I have unique key column called "ID". This column is listed in a table.

Now, I want to filter the table based on the card.

Eg: If I click on the card, the table should show the values where corresponding Column A values are empty.

Sorry, if the question seems confusing.

Appreciate any help!

Thanks,

I don't think you can use the card (or Multi card) visual to cross filter like that.

Slicers are pretty good and can be configured to look quite nice (horizontal layout suits small numbers of items).

Thank you for the response.

That is good approach. But the requirement also needs to represent the count of records.

Is it possible in the slicer to have control over the table and also show the count of each sliced part.

Eg: If the slicer has 0 and 1. is it possible to show the count of 0's when I choose 0?

Thanks

  • You can have the slicer control both the Card visual and the Table visual. Then you can still use the Card to display the extra info.
