Hello,
I have a set of reports that are all identical except for the datasource (we have separate Azure SQL databases for each of our customers). I've created these reports using templates and parameters as described here:
https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/deep-dive-into-query-parameters-and-power-bi-templates/.
All is good until I need to update the reports. Is there a way for me to update the template and have all the reports (generated from that template) updated as well?
Thanks,
-Huan
Since this topic is quite old, is there a solution to this today?
I want to only adjust my master template and have all my published reports the same changes being made automatically
No, it's not possible. When you create reports with "importing Power BI template", it's one-time load. After that if you you update that template, you have to import the template into a new .pbix file.
Regards,
Hello Sir,
Is there any update on the solution?
Is it possible to update the Power BI Template and see those changes in all the reports created from that template?
Thank You
