I am a new user. I am trying to connect to Excel data source. I have tried several files.
Steps: Click Get Data > Exel > Navigate to the Excel file > Click Open > PowerBI shows Connection Message then 'Unexpected Error: Container exited unexpectedly with code 0x80131515. Used Features: (none).'
Any help is appreciated.

The solution was for me to go in a delete files from
C:\Users\<<XID>>\AppData\Local\Power BI Desktop\User Data
C:\Users\<<XID>>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop\AutoRecovery
C:\Users\<<XID>>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop\TempSaves
C:\Users\<<XID>>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop\Cache
So it actually was the thing described in the provided link 😉
