I have few date filters on the page and by default relative date filter is selected for the last 1 month. If the absolute date range is not selected within the last 1 month, it shows blank. For example, if I have well-populated data from 2020 till today and last month filter has range 06/20/2021 to 07/19/2021 and the absolute date is in the range between 06/25/2021 to 07/03/2021 it will show data but if I select 05/20/2021 to 06/19/2021 it will show blank. Seems like the relative date has more precedence than the absolute date.
Any work around to use the absolute date independently if it is selected?

Hi @Anonymous ,
The cause is it use the intersection of the two slicer . For example, last month filter has range 06/20/2021 to 07/19/2021 and the absolute date is in the range between 06/25/2021 to 07/21/2021 it will get the data from 06/25/2021 to 07/19/2021.
If you select 05/20/2021 to 06/19/2021 for absolute date slicer there is no intersection between relative date slicer and absolute date slicer, so it will show blank().
The workaround is to use only one date slicer, or you can use slicer for different visual by editing interaction:

Thanks for the response.
I can remove the relative date filter but for the sake of performance, the requirement is to load only one month of data by default. Is there any other way to select only one-month dates from an absolute date picker?
Hi @Anonymous ,
You can create a bookmark with slicer select the last month and link the button with the bookmark. If you want to see other data, just change the slicer.

Hi Dedmon,
Unfortunately, by using the bookmark the date range would be static(to the bookmarked date) and the requirement is to use the last 1 month.
Thanks,
Hi @Anonymous ,
So you can only use one of the slicers. But we can't select only one-month dates from an absolute date picker by default.
