Unable to sign into Quickbooks - blank login screen

Is anyone able to sign into Quickbooks via the Power BI desktop? I just get a blank login screen. This is on Windows 10, with the App Store version of Power BI Desktop.

I am assuming somewhere in all of that white space is supposed to be a username/password box.

@edhans,

Are you able to sign into Quickbooks in June release of Power BI Desktop in the same computer?

I would recommend you reset the password and login of Quickbooks  via the browser on this computer so that it will be cached locally. Then check if you can connect to QB using Power BI.

Lydia

Hi Lydia,

I am still getting a blank login screen. Originally I didn't have any problem and now it doesn't work on any of my computers. I am using the latest Power Bi

No. I don't have any existing reports using QB so no existing logins. Cannot create a new one. I tried it a few months ago when we were evautating QB for one particular use and it worked, but I didn't save the report.

@edhans,

I am unable to reproduce this issue. I would recommend you open a ticket in Power BI support.

I got it to work on another PC. I did confirm it is using Internet Explorer for this, and I've no desire to delve into the horrible settings for that app trying to figure out which of the settings I've had to change to get product X working has cause product Y to not work right.

I'm having this same exact issue.  Report worked.  Now it doesn't.

Tried a brand new file after clearing:

  1. IE's cache
  2. Edge's Cache
  3. Chrome's Cache
  4. PowerBI's 2 Caches

Click get data.  Got to QBO.  Same routine.  Same Blacnk QBO Screen.
