Hi,
We setup Oracle connectivity for Power BI using https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-connect-oracle-database and able to connect/load using username/password option. However when we are trying to create power query using advanced option (Filtering out and fetching only required columns using oracle SQL) and try to load, it just goes into evaluating state and never finish. The same Oracle sql query is returing the output from SQL developer in just 3 sec (its very small sql query). We tried with other different oracle querties on latest Power BI desktop version but observed same issue. We also tried from different machines, no luck.
Can someone please help us out how to address this? We raised a ticket with Microsoft support but no help.
@lokeshb31 , SQL developer only load 50 rows in first, can you limit the data load and try.
Later you can use M parameter to control that
In SQL query, we are loading only 20 rows but still its not working
