Hello,
I have a report that limits data by filtering for a specific resource ID. This is set as a page filter. I have a second page filter to limit records to on or after June 1, 2020.
However a viewer can select records from any time in 2020 despite the page filter. If I remove the resource ID record filter, the date filter works, but not if the resource ID record filter is present.
Could someone help me understand what I am doing wrong and how to fix it?
Thank you
@RossChevalier hmm not sure why, does the resource you have on page level filter, does it have records for 2020? Your dataset will be filtered on that page level resource filter, if that doesn't have 2020 data, you will not see that.
I would ❤ Kudos if my solution helped. 👉 If you can spend time posting the question, you can also make efforts to give Kudos whoever helped to solve your problem. It is a token of appreciation!

Thanks for the question. The dataset definitely has records that pass the resource ID filter and there are two records per day on one report with the filter applied and one record per day on the other report with the resource ID filter applied.
What I do not understand is why I cannot have two filters on the same page and have them work together if they are acting against different criteria
Hi @RossChevalier ,
Could there be a conflict between your two filters?
For example, here's my sample data table.
We can only choose 1/3/2020 and 1/4/2020 when the ID is greater than or equal to 3.
If not, please give a sample data table.
Best regards,
Lionel Chen

Thanks Lionel,
As best as I can tell from looking at the underlying tables, I don't have a conflict, but there are potentially issues with the source data. I am looking into getting that checked by the DBAs to see if they can identify where there may records with incomplete data in filtered columns
