Unable to connect to Streaming Data Source

I'm not sure why this is happening but was hoping to get some help.  I've created a streaming data source and I am pushing sucessfully to it via the API.  The only problem is that I can't connect to it in the Desktop application.  I keep getting an error.  If I create a report on the web version it works just fine.  The problem is that I can't make measures on the web version of PowerBI.

I may be incorrect but I do not believe streaming datasets are supported in Desktop. You would want to use something like Azure Stream Analytics.

@Greg_Deckler I could have sworn I've seen Guy In A Cube do it but after rewatching it does look like he creates the report in the web app.  Do you know of anyway to filter the latest records out of the data set?  Its really needed for the visuals but I can't find anything that will do that for me.
