How do I fix this issue ?
On Power BI Desktop , I'm unable to connect to Azure Table Storage. In the dialog to enter URL or Account name , it displays error " Account name must be .. and numbers". While the account name on the azure portal has hyphens (-) between the account name, but the power BI desktop client does not support this .
Further , if I provide an account name with no hyphens(-) , now it throws "Unsupported Media type" error.

looks like , Power BI connector is currently supported for Azure Cosmos DB SQL API and Gremlin API accounts only and thus you won't be able to connect to CosmosDB Azure table using PowerBI as this is not supported

Hi!
Any idea when the Power BI connector will be able to connect to Cosmos DB Table API?
Thanks!

While using Table / Variable Names in Azure you must make sure the names are in single words or separted with
_(underscore) only. Change the names of tables and variable ( where ever applicable) to single word names and see it works!
