Unable to change report's dataset from one to another that are on service

Hello Everyone,

I am new to Power BI. I created a Dataset-A and published it to Power BI Service without any reports so that users can use it to build reports from it. Then I created a report using Desktop by poitning to the Dataset-A and published it. Then I created a Dataset-B with same dimensions and measures but by using different datasource and published it to the Power BI Service without any reports. I downloaded the pbix file of the report I created with Dataset-A and tried to point the report to Dataset-B. As soon as I change the dataset the reports breaks. I am 100% sure that all the measures and columns are available in Dataset-B. Is it possible to do what I am trying to do? If so, please let me know how to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Prashanth
