Unable to Open

I've downloaded PowerBI desktop but I can't open it as it floats an error message saying "We weren't able to connect to the model". I've tried everything i.e. run with administrator, installed both versions i.e. 64 and 32 and clean boot. But all in vein. I need someone to address this. Any help is highly respected.

Very strange, what OS are you running? How much memory do you have?

Hi @dharmendra9790 ,

 

The issue may be that the computer memory is too small to open the. Pbix file.

Try opening this file on a computer with more memory to see if it will succeed.

Thanks for you response. I'm not opening any .pbix file but I'm unable to just open the software for the very first time. And talking about memory, it is more than enough but anyhow I tried opening in other system but all efforts in vein. Please look into the matter.

Which version of desktop do you install?

What region and language settings are you using on your machine?

I'm using x64 version of PowerBI and US(English) as region and language settings. I've referred to the thread sent by you & tried all but it's not working at all.Capture.PNG
