I am attempting to create an ODBC connection to Access and keep receiving the following message:

That's an ODBC error. I'm afraid you still get it if you connect it with other tools like Excel. Please refer to fix-setting-of-connection-attribute-fails-when-you-use-connection-pool for the solution. I also have some suggestions.
1. Use the System DSN first.
2. Try to test it with other tools.
