UK Shape Map specific regions

Hi,

I am trying to create a UK Shape Map showing a companies regions. The region boundaries are all based on county lines.

The data I have is listed as NW, NE, etc I also have postcodes for the sales.

My idea was to split the UK Map into these regions and then map the postcode points that will show the number of sales and where.

I have tried using ONS data to create a map, however I am not convinced this is the correct approach.

I was hoping that there was then a way to click on a region and then drill down to show more detailed information on the area such as sales in specific postcode areas? This could be a bubble map so the tool tip will show specifics.

Is this something that is possible?

Here is what I have so far

Thank you

Thank you, the region keys dont really work as the UK is only split into Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Republic of Ireland is different but they dont have postcodes and i wouldnt have a way of looking up where those sales took place from my data.
