Two Data sources joining on a Text Field whose values may be Uppercase or Camel Case

Hi all: Good Day! I have 2 different data sources (e.g. table1 & table2) trying to join on a key "Pipeline" [text]. But  table1 may have a Pipeline value as : "Maritimes US' where table 2 has it as 'MARITIMES US'. Is the join case sensitive or can ignore whether a text data is all caps or Camel case, etc.? Many thanks in advance! 🙂

Hi @sohananahid ,

If you are merging them on Power Query, you should handle it before, there are plenty functions to it (TRIM, CLEAN, UPPER, LOWER...).

However if you are just creating a relationship, it's not necessary (except spaces, special characters...)
