I was to calculate the total turnover for the month from day to day. As in the example I posted in the picture below. Can anybody help me with the measure to do that?

You may can try to use TOTALMTD function to add a column like below:
MTD Qty = TOTALMTD(SUM(Table2[Qty]),Table2[OrderDate])
You can alse add a year month column
year month = YEAR ( 'Table2'[OrderDate] ) * 100 + MONTH ( Table2[OrderDate] )
Then drag the filed year month into the Rows of visual matrix like this :
Then expand all down one level in the hierarchy
Result:
