Hi I am having a difficult time understanding why my bar chart visual keeps showing 'highlights' I have turned off my interactions.
I only want to see the values represented as the height of the darker bar, I'm confused why the in focus bar is different than the out of focus bar when I have only selected 1 field as my value. could you post you measure definition and a screenshot of your model view?

did you use a measure as value?
And the filtered measure return an higher value than an unfiltered measure?

Hi @mwegener thank you for replying. I used a measure as a value and the filtered (highlighted) values is higher than the actual value. Would you be able to help me understand why this is happening or how I cn show only the actual value?

@mwegener I think my question is confusing, I've worked on my measures to simulate the functionality I wanted. Thank you for replying, will close this topic.
I am using 1 table that has a report_date and a maket value decimal I am using a pulse chart to show performance over time and a separate bar chart visual to highlight avg capital investment by quarter.
My quarter column is:
Covering the world! 9:00-10:30 AM Sydney, 4:00-5:30 PM CET (Paris/Berlin), 7:00-8:30 PM Mexico City
