Turn binary column into several tables

Hello, i send to MPBI an zip file that contain sveral files, after i unzip the file i get this table:

Mor.png

If i click on each binary cell, i can open it to an table, but i want to make this proccess inside edvanced editor beacuse the amount of files can change each refresh, how can i implement it?

Is it possible, fron one edvanced editor, to create several tables ?

Hi @Mornagli

You need to unzip the file first into a folder, then Get data / Folder with your desktop, and then Cilck on Combine, Let Power Query do the work for you.

Thanks @aj1973 , Can i with Advenced Editor, split this binary column to 4 differents tables?
Each table will include only the specific value?

@Mornagli

You would need an M code savvy for this 🙂

Sorry I can't help you with that.

Just let me add something, even when you get what you want Power bi or Power query will only refresh the data that already exist in the Dataset and will not refresh the amount of files when you add or delete a file from the source, to the contrary you will expect an error message upon refresh.

Good luck
