Is it possible to turn off the total for selected columns in the table visualisation in Power BI Desktop?
Thanks
Ian
Solved! Go to Solution.
Sort of, wrap your measure in an IF statement with a HASONEFILTER like this:
Measure = IF(HASONEFILTER(Things[Thing]),1,BLANK())
The FALSE case is the Total row.

Incidentally, when I changed the definition of the measure that was the first column in the table so that it wouldn't display a total all the totals disappeared. I created a second version of the measure (exacltly the same HASONEVALUE version of the code but with a different name), added this to the table and it did not cause all the other totals to turn off. I moved this to be the first column and it still did not turn the other totals off.
This isn't a problem, it's easy to work around, but I thought I'd mention it.
Sorry, the title should be 'Turn Off Table Totals'.
Not sure what happened there. Sorry.
