Trying to get a unique count based off multiple column filters

Reference Table:

HpHe79p

I'm trying to get a total amount of Tickets that have either a priority or status that match a particular value.

For example, if I wanted to count the amount of tickets that had a Priority of Deffered and/or a Status of Pending Approval the count would be 2. Any idea how to go about this?

Hi,

Please explain why the answer should be 2.  Which 2 Ticket # meet your conditions?

Hi amtbew,

Isn't the result 3? You can create a measure using DAX formula below:

Count =
CALCULATE (
    DISTINCTCOUNT ( Table1[Ticket #] ),
    FILTER (
        ALL ( Table1 ),
        Table1[Priority] = SELECTEDVALUE ( Table1[Priority] )
            || Table1[Status] = SELECTEDVALUE ( Table1[Status] )
    )
)
