I am working on a Tableau conversion project and a major stumbling block is the lack of a good alternative for stacked bar charts that include an extra dimension like this:
The excllent Stacked Bar Chart by Akvelon custom visual goes a long way but it does not support drill through. Is there another alternative that does, or a workaround to get this functionality?
I don't think that Power BI Custom supports drillthrough feature.
You might raise it as an idea in the portal:

For a workaround, what about the stacked bar chart by power bi itself?
@v-diye-msft I'm not why your answer was marked as a solution but I unmarked it.
Drill-through for custom visuals has been supported since Dec 2018.
The Tableau visual I posted in the picture cannot be created with the Power BI stacked bar visual because it does not include a third axis to create multiple independent charts in the same visual.
