Translation of MAXIFS excel formula into DAX

Dear Community,

Can I ask for you help to troubleshoot my translation of an Excel formula to dax?
I have given it some hours by now and feel stuck.

Excel:
=SUMIFS(

spendingLimit[limit];
spendingLimit[Date];
MAXIFS(
spendingLimit[Date];
spendingLimit[Date];
"<="&spend[Date]
)
)

My best shot in DAX:
Available =
CALCULATE(
SUM(spendingLimit[limit]);
FILTER(
spendingLimit;
CALCULATE(
MAX(spendingLimit[Date]);
FILTER(
spendingLimit;
spendingLimit[Date]<=spend[Date]
)
)
)
)

Best regard
Thomas

I have solved it today, reading the formula something was missing: Available = CALCULATE( SUM(spendingLimit[limit]); FILTER( spendingLimit; spendingLimit[Date] = CALCULATE( MAX(spendingLimit[Date]); FILTER( spendingLimit; spendingLimit[Date]<=spend[Date] ) ) ) )
