We have been working for the past couple of weeks to integrate dynamics online data into the power bi for reporting. The content pack will not be a viable solution for our reporting needs as we have many customisations within our system and database.
options sets are the one thing we have been able to manipulate to provide relevant reporting, rather then looking at schema names however things like lookup fields are causing us some issues. we are not sure how to translate into logical data.
We have tried to do research online and have not found a viable training course which assists in this issue. here is a screenshot of the data we have currently to give some context into our issue.
This is the organisation name_value but we also have a source field of organisation name. in the online system we see a logical name and have no idea how to relate these codes back to logical account names. each of these schema names will be unique to each account (GUID) and creating a table will be a never ending task.
Could you please give some idea what is the end result for your solution should be ?
What is logical data in this context ?

@nickchobotar
In this particular example, we are looking at "organisation name" field, which is a lookup field. They all present themselfs with a similar data output.
organisation name is a re-named field. this will be the account lookup field native in dynamics online.
in terms of how we want to use that data, its for many reasons. being able to link opps, orders, activites etc.
You have to give us a little bit more information. Still not really sure what are you trying to get here.
..... "in terms of how we want to use that data, its for many reasons. being able to link opps, orders, activites etc."
If I understood you correctly, you want to create a relationship between these tables : opps, orders, activites
I would suggest you to go over these articles:
