and now we would like to transfer that report to different pc ( on which we installed sql developer edition) and change source , here on this pc the database table names are slightly different but coloumn names and data are same.

Hi @Ganesh31 ,
In power bi desktop go to query editor, select your table and on the right hand side under Applied Steps (always called Source) click settings icon. You can also without going to query editor - go to File -> Options and settings -> Data source settings >Right click data sources and change source.
Make sure that the column names should be same.
Thanks

in plant database im having 5 tables each serves as datasource for different tabs in report

Hi @Ganesh31 ,
I think there was something wrong with the new source ,
The table are still present i could see in the ss , i think you can expand them as well .
Please follow this youtube video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7h47D8Ey7ks

This has explained the way to replace datasource .Hope this will be helpful.
Thanks ,
