Totals summarized in all cells

I am reporting out of VSTS for a project. I have a table of defects and a table of Test cases joined to the work items links table. I am certain that these values are correct but are the totals. Seems something is wrong with the join as the total is being elicted in every cell.

<--- What's the relationship between three tables and matrix chart? Could you please more details about your matrix chart and expected result?

single, one to many, defects joined to Targetid from workitemid and TC's joined to sourceid from workitemid. Yes its a relationship issue. When I change to Both directionally the values are parsed correctly but results are filtered out.

Which columns in the three tables are your chart based on? Are you trying to use 'Defects' to filter table 'Test Cases'?

Found that my initial join was correct and the totals were inline with expected results.
