Totals on a calculated measure

Hi,

I have data in the below format:

Location    Week      Cumulative Leases

West           Week1        5

West           Week 2      15

West           Week 3      0 (because there is only data through week 2 at this point)

East            Week1        8

East            Week 2      20

East            Week 3      0 (because there is only data through week 2 at this point)

The weeks go thrrough 52, and changing the layout of the data isn't desireable.  I have the following measure:

=lastnonblank('Table Name'[Cumulative Leases],sum('Table Name'[Cumulative Leases]))

When i put together a table, the location information is fine, but for Total it is pulling back 20 (related to East week).  How can I get it so the total gives me 35?

Thanks,

Daniel

This looks like a measure totals problem. Very common. See my post about it here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/DAX-Commands-and-Tips/Dealing-with-Measure-Totals/td-p/63376

Also, this Quick Measure, Measure Totals, The Final Word should get you what you need:

Hi @dhlavek ,

Measure 2 =
SUMX (
    VALUES ( Test_2[Location] ),
    CALCULATE (
        LASTNONBLANK ( 'Test_2'[Cumulative Leases], 1 ),
        ALLEXCEPT ( Test_2, Test_2[Location] )
    )
)

Thanks Greg.

The Final Word worked like a charm.  I couldn't quite figure out how to make the other post work - but this was super helpful.

Thanks,

daniel
