Hi Guys,
I have an issue in one of the main fact tables, I have a fact table which has Fee Submitted column for particular diagnosis and the sum of it is not giving me right totals in Power BI report. Below is the link of the relationship:
The model is very complex and no matter how i slice i end up getting some incorrect totals. i am not able to figure it out from where it is calculating! i just have a sum(Fee Submitted) defined as Fee Claimed measure.
only if i put the measure i get correct totaols, the moment i slice it up on columns it gets to wrong one.
Regards,
Shweta
Hi,
Share the link from where your file can be downloaded. Also, please show the expected result.
Hi Shweta,
Did you mean you used the formula as a measure or a calculated column in the last sentence? If so, usually they would return different values due to they have different context.
1. What is the formula? Maybe you specified some context in it. So the outcome would be strange when you try to filter it.
2. How did you slice it? Different slicers from different columns would return different results.
Please check out these two items. I can't do any more with limited information. Could you please share a sample in TEXT mode? The PBIX file would be great. At least the formula and the slicers you used.
Best Regards!
Dale
