Total selling measure

Hi all,

I have a question,

I have two tables that are connected to eachother:

one with orders:

OrderID	Product
31	X
16	X
13	Y

and i have a lookup table for the prices:

Product	SellingPrice
X	€           15.99
Y	€           39.99

Now I want to know for how much in total I sold products (in this example € 71.97) I want to be able to filter on product.

Hi,

A quick solution would be to create a calculated column in the Orders table:

Price = RELATED('Product'[SellingPrice])

Then you will get the price for each Product in the Orders table and if you have Quantities aswell you can do a SUMX later on with Price * Quantity to get each value per transaction. Filtering on each Product will work aswell.
