Total of average column in Matrix is incorrect

Hi,

Please see below the example. In a table/matrix the total of average value (% Goal) is different from the real average.

Orders and customers are measures (SUM). % Goal (also a measure) is the division between orders and customers.

SALESMANOrdersCustomers% Goal
ERICK STEVEEN VELASQUEZ RENGIFO (PV3)516101850,69%
JANURY THAYRI VELASQUEZ RENGIFO (PV2)52691057,80%
JONATHAN ANDRES SANTANA CARRILLOPV1)463106543,47%
JOSE ROLANDO GARCIA GARCIA468124137,71%
PARRAGA BAQUE JEAN CARLOS (MV1)577123746,65%
PORTILLA CARRILLO ANDERSON SNEHIDER(M3)52594655,50%
 3075641747,92%

Please your help

Thanks

Hi, thanks for your reply

But, if I only show the % Goal column, the result is wrong.

SALESMAN% Goal
ERICK STEVEEN VELASQUEZ RENGIFO (PV3)50,69%
JANURY THAYRI VELASQUEZ RENGIFO (PV2)57,80%
JONATHAN ANDRES SANTANA CARRILLOPV1)43,47%
JOSE ROLANDO GARCIA GARCIA37,71%
PARRAGA BAQUE JEAN CARLOS (MV1)46,65%
PORTILLA CARRILLO ANDERSON SNEHIDER(M3)55,50%
 47,92%

I think what he's saying is that based on the numbers in your example, the calculation appears to be correct already - whether you show the other columns or not, the percentage for each person and the percentage of the total is correct, based on those numbers.  What number do you think you should be seeing in the % Goal total? Why do you think 47,92% is wrong, since the total numbers of 3075 sales and 6417 customers calculates to 47,92% of Goal?

Hi,

In a calculator, the average of % Goal is 48,63%, not 47,92%.

Your support is greatly appreciated
