Hi
I have a data model that is not showing the Sigma symbol because I have connected this to the Tabular Editor.
Therefore, when I add the below measure to the matrix visual and select USD (<> LC) from the slicer, I don't see the total value of this column/measure. However, when I select LC from the slicer, the total does appear.
Do you know how to make it work also for USD slicer (_gross*_lc_fx)?
Here is my measure:
Invoice Gross Amount =
VAR _entity = selectedvalue('BDR_Dataset'[HFM_Entity])
VAR _lc_fx = lookupvalue(Entity_Currency[LC/USD],Entity_Currency[HFM_Entity],_entity)
VAR _gross = calculate(sum(BDR_Dataset[Amount incl VAT]))
RETURN
if(selectedvalue('Currency Selection'[Currency])="LC",
_gross,
_gross*_lc_fx)

hi @Anonymous
This looks like a measure totals problem. Very common. See this post about it

Also, this Quick Measure, Measure Totals, The Final Word should get you what you need:

if you still have problem, please share your sample pbix file, that will be a great help.

hi @Anonymous - We had a similar issue and got around it by calculating the Revenue/Spend value for LC and USD in seperate columns in our data model - then based on slicer selection (LC or USD) you can display the measure based on the corresponding column
Please mark the above comment as a solution to help others find it more quickly. Also please provide a 👍 if my comment helped with solving your issue. Thanks!
