Tornado Chart sorting by Month Name

Hi,

I am using Torando Chart with Direct Query, and grouping the chart by "Month Name". I need to sort the visuals according to the "Month Name". Tried to make a new column using "FORMAT" function, but it seems this function is not allowed as part of calculated column DAX expressions on DirectQuery models. Can someone please help me in solving this issue? Also, an alternative to this chart is highly appreciated.

You should click on the "Month Name" column in the data tab and then select "Sort by Column" and select the month number column.  That should align your month list in the proper order instead of alphabetical.

Thanks for the solution. Works well.

Just a follow up question. Is there a way to show all the months everytime, irrespective of the filter, with the value as zero? For example, when I use a filter in my report then my torando chart gets filtered wrt to the used filter. And few of the months are shows. But I want to show all the hidden months with the value as zero. Any way to get this done?

Wanted to show all other months with both blue and orange value as zero.Wanted to show all other months with both blue and orange value as zero. Thanks,
