Tooltips - prevent one filter

Hi Everyone,

I have a report page (Report page 1) with sales in the week for each store and linked to this report page I have a tooltip which is showing a chart for sales over the last 8 weeks. I want to hover over the sales in the week for the table and then the tooltip to show filtered on the store but not filtering on the time period.

The problem is when I hover over the table for the tooltip it filters to the current week leaving out the last 7 weeks.

I created a measure:

Filter_enddate =

CALCULATE(sum(Table1 [Sales]),

FILTER(ALL(Table 1 [shift_period]), Table 1 [shift_period] > -8))

and I added this to the Values section of my chart, this has forced the filter on my tooltip page to be correct, but when I hover over the table in Report page 1, it still looks at current week.

Is my measure wrong or am I putting it in the wrong place?

Thanks,

Hi,

I might be being a bit silly, but I don't think that solves my problem. I can get the chart to filter correctly but I want it to keep the date filter but use the store filter when it is a tooltip.

@PowerBIWhat
Try use allselected() instead of all(),

Measure = CALCULATE(sum(Table1 [Sales]),

FILTER(ALLSELECTED(Table 1 [shift_period]), Table 1 [shift_period] > -8))

Hi,
This is filtering it when i view the page, but not when I use it as a tooltip?

@PowerBIWhat , If you have week /period have  week rank

have columns like

Week Start date = 'Date'[Date]+-1*WEEKDAY('Date'[Date],2)+1
Week End date = 'Date'[Date]+ 7-1*WEEKDAY('Date'[Date],2)
Week Rank = RANKX(all('Date'),'Date'[Week Start date],,ASC,Dense)

Measures
This Week = CALCULATE(sum('order'[Qty]), FILTER(ALL('Date'),'Date'[Week Rank]=max('Date'[Week Rank])))
Last Week = CALCULATE(sum('order'[Qty]), FILTER(ALL('Date'),'Date'[Week Rank]=max('Date'[Week Rank])-1))
Last year Week= CALCULATE(sum('order'[Qty]), FILTER(ALL('Date'),'Date'[Week Rank]=(max('Date'[Week Rank]) -52)))
Last 8 weeks = CALCULATE(sum('order'[Qty]), FILTER(ALL('Date'),'Date'[Week Rank]>=max('Date'[Week Rank])-8 && 'Date'[Week Rank]<=max('Date'[Week Rank])))
