I had to created 2 visual bar chart and column chart. And have more than one dimension on axis and only one meansure on value. Both of visual had the same dimension and measure. when i drill-down to next level on both visual, the tooltips on column chart show both of the 1st level (VanArsdel Manufacturer) and 2nd level (Urban Category) as in the picture below:
But, for the bar chart its show the 2nd level (Urban Category) only its doesn't show the 1st level (Manufacturer) as the picture below:
Is this Power BI bug?

We reporduced same issue as yours. When drilling down to child level, the tooptip displays current level only in bar chart. But it can show all parent levels in column chart.
We have reported this issue internally.

Your point is exactly correct.
If we are moving to second level it should show first level information too, then only we can understand where it is coming from .
