Tooltip report field becomes card title

I've created a report page which I'm using as a tooltip in a matrix visual in another page, and my data model is a star schema with facts and dimensions. For some of the dimensions, when I add a dimension field to the multi-row card field list in the tooltip report, the field is turned into a card title and put on top of the multi-row card visual. Why is that? If I then add another field from the same dimension table, both field are shown as normal fields in the visual and the Card Title section in the Format tab is gone.

Hi @mjohannesson

The Situation you see may be that if there is only one text/ time/date format fields in Multi-row-card, power bi will show it as a card title, and if there are more the 1 text/time/date format fields in this visual it will show as normal.

You may refer to this post: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/multi-row-card-Title/m-p/580490

My test:

Only Time field:

Time field and Text field:

Two Time fields:

The best way for you is to add a text field in to the multi-row-card.

And you may submit an idea for truning off show card title automaticlly from this link: Idea

You can download the pbix file from this link: Tooltip report field becomes card title

@mjohannesson ,The information you have provided is not making the problem clear to me. Can you please explain with an example.
Do you have issue with the tooltip page?

Appreciate your Kudos.

@Sujit_Thakur  and @amitchandak , when I add the TimeLabel field to the multi-row card field list in the tooltip report, the field is turned into a card title and put on top of the multi-row card visual.

Also, a Card Title section in the Format tab is added.

If I add another field (Time) from the same dimension table, both field are shown as normal fields in the visual and the Card Title section in the Format tab is gone.

I only want to show one of the fields and not as a card title.
