Folks
1) I have a ToolTip page created and able to show it when I hover over the columns in a matrix report. However, I want to show it for only one particular column, and for the rest, need to be default when hovered. Not sure if its been implemented in Aug 2020 edition, as I had read it as a feature required by many users. Does anyone know if its been implemented or is there a way I can do it programatically?
2) I have a report with 2 hierarchies:
AGRICULTURE 200 400
Fruits and Veggies 100 200
Livestock and Dairy 100 200
When I use the ToolTip page and include the Sub-Industry as part of the ToolTip page, on hovering shows the Sub-industry as well on the Industry item. Anyway to suppress the Sub-industry, when I hover over Industry and when at Sub-industry level show both? Something like Dynamic Suppression when hovering?
Thanks in advance
Hi @Anonymous
For your first concern, I don't see it implemented on Version: 2.86.902.0 64-bit (October 2020). The tooltip page still works on the whole matrix visual.
For the second one, I'm not quite clear about your desired result for the tooltip page. Can you please let me know what visuals or items you put on the tooltip page? And how do you want them to dynamically change when hovering over different hierarchies?
Regards,
Jing
@Anonymous , if you are looking to change the display I doubt that is possible.
