Hello,
We currently have a data warehouse which has dynamically generated date table starting from 2013 until today. With Power Bi desktop we can create a date slicer displaying data between these date ranges.
However, we have a requirement for a new project, where we should only display data from 2013 until today minus six months. So the maximum end date for a date slicer should be in July 2017.
I have tried using DAX's calender function without success. Can any help me find a solution whether in a new table or measure?
Kind regards

You could create a column in your table like:
DaysAgo = IF([Date]<TODAY(),DATEDIFF([Date],TODAY(),DAY),BLANK())
Then you could filter the entire report to essentially DaysAgo > 180.
You could create a column in your table like:
DaysAgo = IF([Date]<TODAY(),DATEDIFF([Date],TODAY(),DAY),BLANK())
Then you could filter the entire report to essentially DaysAgo > 180.
Is it working for Power Query Editor as well?
Thank you for your help. I was able to create a new column and then add report level filter.
