I've created a chart that visualises the count of appointments by sales reps (linking 2 separate tables to obtain the required info). The chart is filtered using month of appointment as well as sales reps. For a certain month, some reps have not completed any appointments (hence no data in the underlying table). How do I go about so that this is reflected in the chart, ie showing zero count of appointments by these sales reps? Thanks!
P/s: I tried 'show items with no data' but it doesn't seem to work for my issue.
Solved! Go to Solution.
You should be able to just add 0 to the measure this will return the distinct count (if there are some observations else it will return 0).
count distinct = DISTINCTCOUNT( 'fact'[column]) + 0
If this work then please mark it as the solution and if it does not work would you then please provide some more information about your issue, i.e. a screen dump and a data sample.

Silly me! I added this as a new measure but I forgot to change the value used for the visualisation. Anyway, thanks!
Hi,
Can you share the DAX used for the measure?
Thanks.
Hi!
I'm simply using the 'count distinct' function for value (no of appointments).
Hi,
Can you try using DISTINCTCOUNT( column ) + 0
Thanks.
